AI companies in Saudi Arabia differ far more in what they do than in what they call themselves. Some build platforms, models and infrastructure, some sell specialised products for one sector, and some work inside your company, connecting AI to your processes and systems.
So we compared six companies on four fixed criteria, to help you choose the right partner rather than the best-known name.
We cover companies that serve businesses, not listed AI stocks: the criteria, the types of company, a comparison table, a profile of each, and the questions to ask before you sign.
How we selected AI companies in Saudi Arabia for this comparison
We chose from AI companies in Saudi Arabia that appear in local search results and whose official sites clearly describe what they offer. We left out any company we couldn't verify, and used no ratings or opinions that can't be documented.
If you'd like to see how we work first, read about SELA's AI and process automation services. These are the criteria we applied to everyone:
These criteria decide whether an AI project works in practice. A solution that can't understand your customers in Arabic, or can't connect to your systems, stays an isolated experiment however advanced it is. Local presence matters because a nearby team makes workshops, rollout and post-launch support much easier.
We didn't compare prices, which most companies don't publish and which depend on each project's scope. Nor did we rank companies from best to worst, since each type plays a different role.
Each profile states only what the company says about itself, linked so you can check. A dash in the table means we didn't find the information published, not that the company doesn't offer it.
What types of AI companies are there in Saudi Arabia?
Before comparing names, understand where each company works. AI companies don't all sell the same thing; they operate at different layers, from infrastructure and language models up to applications inside your processes. Knowing which layer you need cuts your search in half.
Most mid-sized companies needn't start at the foundation. The practical question is whether a ready-made product solves your problem, or you need a partner to fit AI into how you already work. A large organisation building internal capability may need every layer, plus governance to coordinate them.
Some examples: a retailer wanting better demand forecasts may find a specialised product ready to use.
A service company wanting to answer customers on WhatsApp and log conversations in its CRM needs an implementation partner. A body building an AI strategy needs consulting and governance before any tool. AI companies in Saudi Arabia cover all four layers, and one project may combine more than one.
All layers share one condition: processes must be clear before they're automated. AI speeds up a good process and multiplies the errors of a messy one, as we explain in our guide to business automation and how to prepare your company for it.
Comparison table of AI companies
The table summarises what each company says about itself on its official website; the profiles below give the details, with a link to each site. Companies are grouped by type: the implementation partner first, then platforms and specialised products, then technology consulting.
| Company | Type | What it offers | Arabic support | Presence in the Kingdom |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SELA | Implementation partner | AI agents and chatbots connected to a CRM | Arabic and English | Office in Saudi Arabia |
| HUMAIN | Platforms and models | Infrastructure, cloud, models and applications | Arabic-first LLM (ALLAM) | — |
| MOZN | Specialised products | Decision intelligence and financial crime prevention | Mentions Arabic-native AI | Saudi Arabia and UAE |
| Lucidya | Specialised products | Customer experience, listening and analytics platform | 15 Arabic dialects | Founded in Jeddah |
| Intelmatix | Specialised products | EDIX platform and agents for forecasting, inventory and scheduling | — | — |
| EVC | Technology consulting | Digital transformation, AI and data governance | — | Riyadh and Makkah |
The columns measure only what's published, not service quality. A blank cell may mean a company offers something without mentioning it, so ask before ruling it out.
If you're looking for AI companies in Riyadh or another specific city, check the presence column and ask where the team that will work with you is based.
SELA: an implementation partner that connects AI to your daily work
SELA is a business development group registered in Delaware, USA, with an office in Saudi Arabia. AI and automation is one of our six tracks: we find the processes worth automating, improve them first, then build AI agents and chat assistants connected to a CRM and integrated into your systems.
One example is an AI agent on WhatsApp Business with a CRM for an instalment finance company. The company wanted to serve customers on the channel they use daily, so we built an agent that understands and answers their questions, and a CRM that organises customer data and follow-up.
Every project starts with one question: where is your team's or customers' time lost today? The answer sets the first use case and its measure before any tool is chosen. We work in Arabic and English.
We follow four fixed stages (diagnosis, solution design and plan, delivery, then follow-up and improvement) with one party accountable to you. Because AI rarely works alone, we connect it where needed to operations and digital products as part of SELA's management consulting, from diagnosis to delivery.
SELA suits companies that want AI working inside their processes, with one party accountable. For infrastructure or a sector-specific product, the companies below may suit you better.
Profiles of the other AI companies in this comparison
These companies build AI platforms or products, or offer technology consulting that includes AI. Everything below comes from their official websites.

HUMAIN
HUMAIN's website describes AI platforms across four layers: infrastructure, cloud, data and models, and applications. Its models include ALLAM, an Arabic-first large language model co-developed with SDAIA, delivered directly or through partners. The site of the Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) states that SCAI is now part of HUMAIN.
MOZN
MOZN's website presents enterprise AI solutions including decision intelligence, enterprise knowledge automation, and fraud and financial crime prevention through FOCAL. It serves the public sector, banking, insurance and fintech, highlights Arabic-native AI, and describes running AI on the client's terms with data kept governed. It lists Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Lucidya
Lucidya's website describes an AI-native customer experience platform, founded in Jeddah in 2016. Its products include social listening, customer service, surveys and multilingual AI agents; its engine understands 15 Arabic dialects, it says.
Intelmatix
Intelmatix's website presents the EDIX platform and AI agents for forecasting, inventory, staff scheduling and site selection. It lists industries such as retail, logistics, real estate and government, plus AI advisory and training.
Experts Vision Consulting (EVC)
EVC describes itself as a national technology company offering consulting services, including digital transformation, AI and data governance, and smart cities. It has offices in Riyadh and Makkah, says it has worked with more than 60 government entities, and its AI material focuses on government readiness and AI governance.
Questions to ask any AI company before you sign
Whichever AI companies in Saudi Arabia you shortlist, ask each the same questions and get the answers in writing. Specific answers signal real experience with projects like yours. Don't settle for a presentation; ask to see the solution working on a case close to yours.
- 1What's the problem, and how do we measure success?Agree on one clear metric before talking about tools.
- 2What use cases have you delivered?Ask for examples similar to your project in size or sector.
- 3How does it integrate with our systems?Ask about connecting to your CRM, channels and existing systems.
- 4Where is our data held, and who can access it?Hosting location, permissions, and whether data is used for training.
- 5What happens after launch?Support, improvement and knowledge transfer to your team.
Ask, too, who owns what's built for you: the configuration, the data and the conversations if the contract ends, and whether the solution could move to another provider. These questions apply to all AI companies in Saudi Arabia, whatever their type or size.
Compare offers only after aligning the scope: the same use case, channels, integration and support period. Start with a pilot that has a set duration and a clear metric rather than a large commitment up front.
If the project touches customer data, make its handling part of the contract in line with the Personal Data Protection Law, and follow the frameworks published by the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA).
If AI is part of wider change to your structure and processes, you may need a firm to lead the whole effort; we compared management consulting firms in Saudi Arabia on clear criteria separately.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between an AI platform company and an implementation partner?
A platform company builds a product, model or infrastructure for many customers, which you adopt or customise within its limits. An implementation partner starts from your processes and existing systems, picks the right tool for them, connects it to what you already run, and stays accountable until it works.
Why is SELA listed first?
Because SELA's team wrote this article and knows its own services best. We say so at the top, apply the same criteria to every company, and describe the others only from their linked official websites, without unverifiable ratings or reviews.
Do I need a lot of data before starting an AI project?
Not always. Many first projects run on data you already have, such as customer conversations, requests or documents. What matters is that it's organised and accessible with clear permissions, which is why a serious partner reviews your data and processes before proposing any tool or model.
How should I handle data protection with an AI company?
Ask where your data will be stored and processed, who can access it, whether it's used to train general models, and how it's deleted when the contract ends. Put the answers in the contract, in line with Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law, and ask for the company's data protection policy.
How often is this comparison updated?
At least every six months. At each review we recheck every company's official website and update the check date. If something has changed, or you'd like to suggest a company that meets the criteria, write to us and we'll check it against the official source.
Next step: start with the problem, not the tool
The best partner among AI companies in Saudi Arabia is the one that understands the problem you want to solve, works at the layer you need, and is clear about how it handles your data. Define the problem first, compare companies on the same criteria, and start with a pilot you can measure.
If you'd like to know where AI would make a real difference in your company before committing to anything, talk to SELA's team about your project and we'll suggest the right place to start.
